Brinlee is a Utah-based wedding photographer and working mom who finds joy in capturing love stories. Growing up near the red rocks of Moab, she developed a deep appreciation for the unique beauty of the desert and the art it inspires. On a wedding day, her passion lies in preserving the split seconds of real, candid emotion that couples will cherish forever.
She also loves connecting with other photographers and sharing creativity within the community. Some of her closest friendships were formed at photography retreats. Her retreat experiences have sparked new inspiration and changed the way she sees her art in so many ways and hopes it will do the same for you.
The Shoots
To complete our wedding story, our same couple from the Red Earth venue is going to model for our engagement shoot inside Arches National Park.
Featuring a fashion forward engagement we can get creative with cropping, posing and lighting to tell the story of their destination wedding.
Inspired by impressionist paintings, we are bringing a lush garden to the desert sand and towering rock formations.
Hosted at The Red Earth Venue, we will feature a full micro wedding set up from getting ready, the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and of course all the details like flat lays, a cake and seating chart.
Leaning in to the colorful and bold trends of 2026 we aim to create an intimate yet luxe wedding with lush florals, striking texture, and designer fashion straight from New York City.
We will have 3 bridal looks from getting ready, to the ceremony, to a party dress for the end of the night cocktails and partying.

Catching sunset at one of the most iconic locations in Southern Utah, we will photograph an ethereal elopement at Dead Horse State Park.
With stunning vistas and grand views we'll embrace the wind with a cathedral veil and trailing gown. We will split into smaller groups each with 15-20 minutes with the couple and then gather together at the end for some wide shots at sunset.

Question?
You will need to organize and cover travel to and from the airbnb. Once at the airbnb we will carpool to different locations. Two out of three meals a day will be provided, but you will need to purchase your own meals when we eat at restaurants in town.
There is a small airport called Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY), but a larger airport is the Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) in Colorado is a 1.5-2 hour drive.
Salt Lake City International (SLC) is another large airport you can fly into, but is a 4 hour drive from Moab.
We will be split into groups of 3 and take turns shooting with our models or rotating through different stations. We will have 4-5 hours for our main shoot at The Red Earth Venue and will have plenty of time for you to experiment and get the photos you'd like.
You may submit your photos for publication, however, we ask that you wait 4 weeks before submitting to give everyone an equal chance as many film photographers need the time to get the film developed.
We will have 4 official classes at our retreat. 2 will be taught by the hosts, and the other 2 will be guest speakers who are experts in the industry.
However, we are always open to answering your questions at any time during the retreat.
Photographers of all levels are welcome! However, we recommend you have at least a basic knowledge of how to use your camera settings and feel comfortable offering direction to models to get the most out of your experience.
Yes! All of our models are real couples who are comfortable in front of the camera and take direction well.
While our main couple do not model professionally, they naturally engage with each other in front of the camera with very little direction. But feel free to give as much guidance as you'd like!
We only have a limited number of spaces available. If you're interested in joining us and waking up your creative soul, fill out the form below.
